A single particle creates waves that interfere after passing through two slits.
The effect is tiny but it is here, .. or what do you think ?

That’s it !!! Now we all know that observer has nothing to do with it 🙂 Great video heligone !!!
Yes , exactly. We all ready to accept the duality fact of particles, the problem comes because the collapse of the wave function.
Well done!
This isn’t QM
No QM. Ok is not, and ??? What is your point ???
Putting sensor on the slit or slits causes distortion of the wave, that’s why there’s no interference pattern. Sensor is NOT observer and sensor physically affects a particles !!! End of story !!!
What is your opinion heligone ?
This is a JOKE! and it has nothing to do with quantum phenomena. The waves are caused and sustained by the vibrating bath as the droplet is vibrated through one of the slits. The main point is to NOT mistake this picture with anything that goes on in quantum-land. Just as an electron doesn’t really orbit around the nucleus, a quantum particle doesn’t really “go through” either slit (even if one is closed).
Right, that”s not quantum physics, that’s just oil vibrated at the workshop. But it is also a wave-particle moving and interacting …
You’re ridiculous, the probability of the wave function and of the electron is just the statistics and cannot explain the process of the system.
Demonstrations like this one show that the probability is but one aspect of the system and is analogous to the Faraday wave mode of the potential well. These wave particles (aka walkers) operate by the same principles as quantum mechanics, such as tunneling, quantized orbits and even entanglement.

entanglement? where is the experiment with entanglement? I heard Couder briefly talk about entanglement in his 2011 PIRSA talk but he made a comment as to the fact he couldn’t replicated entanglement (very last minutes of the talk). That was 2011, has there been something on entanglement? I mean in the Bell inequality sense?
But what is entanglement in the first place ? I mean from a real hands-on experimental point of view. What is the seminal paper on that topic ?
Why not set up an experimental setup in which you could test Bell’s theorem by creating in-phase walkers moving in opposite directions?
I am not savvy enough concerning bell’s theorem, but I’l be glad to read more about it. And what kind of setup do have in mind exactly ?

“A great experiment that gives us more understanding about this dynamic wave universe of only motion forever moving to find rest and balance now,..but never finding it.
Vibrating matter of opposed motion is simulating rest and balance now through violent motion is a fine mixture of positive and negative electric charges coming into and out of existence.
All forces of nature formed by the locational spherical inward absorption density + and -outward emission density now of electromagnetic waves.”
Gorgeous!
Yes, this is not quantum physics. But this hydrodynamical analogy of the quantum effect hints us how vacuum fluctuations guide a particle through a slit.
he has a point, rather than to assume that the particle goes through both slits simultaneously, sounds less plausible than the particle with a wave ahead of it and the particle goes in one slot and the wave that’s been pushed ahead goes through both slits.and aren’t all particle’s finally waves ?
yes, this is clearly the attraction of this system, that we can picture the statistics as emerging from random walks in a wavefield with memory. Of course the question of what the waves are in the case of photons (remember that here the waves travel at 10x the speed of walker) is an interesting question.
joli maniement de la litote !
man we need by now pants with 2 slits? I need money for Nobel prize to
build m thermodynamic resonant engine your spay is polarizing the atoms.
You need more ask me. Heisenberg-yes , dualism-yes but there really is
polarization in respect with Heisenberg and dualism. The observer have
sometingh to say if is active one.
please STOP pushing physic in wrong direction, When we don’t understand
something that mean , must to go to contemplation and reflect are
components of time what are offering us wisdom.
if you ask me this line of research is some of the most beautiful we have seen in years. But don’t take it from me, t’hooft just showcased this work at the emerging QM. Smolin has Couder talking at perimeter etc etc… thank god the who’s who of physics doesn’t share your opinion as to where it needs to go next. Personally I think if some of these pictures turn out to be real, couder is noble worthy.
Thanks for droping in some big names taking interest in walking droplets.

The old interpretation for Interference can’t to explain photon by photon Interference. Ion Murgu CUT&PT 345 Resonator can. Thanks for your words!
an “electron” is only the interaction of in and out standing waves.
everything consists of waves only.
This is a great video and on behalf of the reddit community, I would like
to ask you to upload more of them if you have some ;3
yes, I am proud you read Ion Murgu postulate in Physics

hopefully this will be the death knell to the juvenile idiocy called the
copenhagen interpretation and the utter lunacy of the many worlds
interpretation
Observer would be like adding another particle to the scene which would add
more waves?
That vid blows my mind!
Can I make that at home and how?
Nice video exactly what i thought it was particles interfering with
themselves =)
